Recently I was introduced to a wonderful feature of the World Wide Web--Roms and Emulation. You do need to be able to download files to get this to work (If you don't know how go here). An emulator is a platform video game system right on your computer. You can then download the games for them, called roms. Most of the emulators are only about 400k and most of the roms are no bigger than 200k. You should note, tho, you mac users, most of the emulators and roms are only for PCs. (the good ones anyway, ha ha ha.) There are loads of emulators available for download, and an amazing amount of games. Some of the Sega Genesis emulators froze my computer tho. On Kgen, when I went into a submenu, if I pushed ESC to get out the computer froze, Genecyst just never loaded when I opened it. I think it was just that the computer I was on was bad, tho. I am taking away my direct links to roms and emulators, I will only put links to rom and emulator pages, because there is some kind of legal stuff associated with roms and such.
I WILL PUT A FEW ROMS ON HERE, BUT I CANNOT GO JAMMING MY DIRECTORY WITH ROMS AS I WOULD RUN OUT OF SPACE. THERE ARE LOADS OF OTHER ROM SITES ON THE WEB SO DO NOT COMPLAIN TO ME ABOUT MY LACK OF ROMS. IF I GET A LOT OF COMPLAINTS I WILL THINK UP SOME TERMS OF SERVICE FOR MY DREAMSCITY.
I THINK I HAVE THE LEGAL STUFF FIGURED OUT. IF YOU DO NOT OWN AN ORIGINAL COPY OF THESE ROMS (LIKE A CARTRIDGE) YOU MUST DELETE THE WITHIN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS. IT IS ILLEGAL NOT TO.
Okay, so my idea about roms didn't work. If anybody DOES know how I can put roms on my website, please email me, or sign my guestbook, or something. I'm also going to see if I can put a feedback form and/or message board on my pages, but I'm probably not going to.

BTW, some of the emulators come with game genies & such.
Also Sega Emulation World has a lot of emulators and such, you can get there from a link if you 1) go to the link above 2)delete any subdirectories in the address and 3)follow an emulation link from there.
But let's say, you have a Macintosh. (Normally I hate mac but the new PowerMac G3s are awesome!) All the emulators and roms are for PCs! What do you do? You go to emulation.net, that's what! But the roms are still zipped! Well, download MacUnzip (go to yahoo and search for "mac unzip", it's the only site there) ! Or try download.com's large selection of stuffers and such, just search "stuffit!" NE questions? Email me!
